What are your resolutions for 2012?

It is quickly coming up to that time of the year again where everyone starts to make promises to themselves about the way they are going to live their lives in 2012.

Some of us will make all sorts of resolutions from drinking/smoking less to exercising more/eating better and even working less. Some we’ll keep for the whole year, some a few months, and others a few days. Some will be easy to follow, others not so easy.

Whilst I have not been a smoker, I have made a New Year’s Resolution on various New Year’s Eves to give up coffee, alcohol and to exercise more and eat better, each with a varying degree of success.

The one thing I have been able to keep to this day, whilst it wasn’t actually a New Years Resolution, was the promise to myself that I would go vegan and do my best to avoid the use/consumption of animal products.

With the selection of vegan suitable products available today being a far cry from what was available in 1994 when I made that choice, there really isn’t any valid reason for you not to do the same.

Whether you do it for health, environmental, ethical/moral or spiritual reasons, why not make 2012 the year where you show compassion and kindness to Planet Earth and all those who inhabit it by going vegan?

What are your thoughts?
